The Barking Brew

The Barking Brew is an award-winning independent dog groomer based in Aston Clinton, established in February 2021 by founder Emily. The business offers a unique pet grooming service to the surrounding areas of Aylesbury, Tring, Berkhamsted and Wendover, making sure each groom is tailored and personal to the individual pet. The salon is divided into individual rooms to accommodate families or individual pets, and pets that may be nervous of other dogs can enjoy their groom on their own away from distraction. Cat grooming takes place at quieter times or on cat specific days. The team consists of two Level 3 qualified groomers, Emily and Rosie, who are constantly learning and building their grooming careers by regularly attending seminars, workshops and competitions.

The Barking Brew provides a comprehensive range of services, from a signature full groom to a de-shedding treatment and a hand stripping service. They offer a 'Meet and Treat' session for all new clients to explore the salon and meet the team before any grooming takes place. The business also has a 'Pupaccino Package' for puppies, which is a gradual introduction to the grooming process, and a 'Calm Brew Package' for first-time clients, rescue dogs, anxious dogs and older pups who need a little more guidance. The team works with a lot of nervous and anxious dogs, and their approach is to work at the pet's pace, with their welfare and health being the upmost priority.
