Pawsitive Pet Services

Pawsitive Pet Services is a dedicated dog grooming business based in Somersham, Cambridgeshire, offering a comprehensive range of pet care solutions. The business is run by Natalie, a Level 3 qualified dog groomer with extensive experience handling dogs of all sizes and temperaments, from placid to aggressive, and coats ranging from smooth to wiry and double coated. The company provides a dedicated grooming salon on-site at their home, alongside secure dog fields, doggy daycare, and home boarding services. Their approach to grooming is built on patience and a focus on making each dog feel completely at ease before any work begins, ensuring a stress-free experience for both the pet and the owner.

The grooming services at Pawsitive are tailored to meet the specific needs of every dog. They use professional, high-quality products that are carefully selected to suit the dog's coat type and skin sensitivity. The team is meticulous about trimming, using professional-grade trimmers and scissors to achieve a perfectly shaped coat. A key specialism is their work with nervous and anxious dogs, as well as those with special requirements. The salon is designed to be a calm environment, and the team takes the time to build trust with each dog, never forcing any part of the grooming process and ensuring the dog is comfortable at every step.

Customer feedback consistently highlights the exceptional care and attention to detail provided by the team. Reviewers frequently praise the calm and patient environment, noting that the groomers are gentle and understanding with dogs of all ages and temperaments. Specific praise is often directed at the owner, who is described as caring and gentle, particularly with elderly and nervous dogs. The team's ability to work with dogs that are typically difficult to groom is a recurring theme, with many customers expressing confidence in leaving their pets in the business's care.

Beyond their grooming services, Pawsitive Pet Services is known for its outstanding facilities and community involvement. The secure dog field is a standout feature, described as one of the best in the area with ample space, a ball pit, and a wide variety of toys and equipment. The field is well-equipped with everything needed for a great day out, including a ball launcher and a converted outbuilding that serves as a 'soft play heaven' for dogs. The business is deeply committed to the well-being of all animals, with a reputation for treating every pet like their own.
